Potato Truck Tips in Shelley

SPUDS-jpg

(SHELLEY, ID) – An overturned potato truck left quite a mess in Shelley Monday morning.  The accident happened just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of State and Center streets. Officials say it isn’t uncommon to see a few accidents involving farming equipment during harvest time. In most cases, overturned trucks occur because drivers take corners too fast with heavy loads. However, investigators believe a mechanical problem may have played a factor. No injuries were reported. Crews were able to salvage most of the spuds and get the truck back upright within a short time
