(OWINGS MILLS, Md.) — The Baltimore Ravens signed free agent running back Bernard Scott on Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Scott was originally drafted by Cincinnati in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL drafted out of Abilene Christian.
In four seasons with the Bengals, Scott rushed for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns on 255 carries. He also had 29 receptions for 165 yards.
The 29-year-old Scott missed most of last year with a torn ACL. He started this season with the Bengals on the physically unable to perform list and was released on Sept. 17.
Scott is expected to be third on depth chart, behind Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce.
