(ATLANTA) — Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones could miss the remainder of the season due to a foot injury, according to ESPN.
Falcons head coach Mike Smith told reporters during his news conference on Tuesday that it was premature to rule Jones out for the season. Smith added Jones will be seeking a second medical opinion.
The 24-year-old Jones suffered the injury during Monday night’s 30-28 loss to the New York Jets. In five games this season, he has 41 receptions for 580 yards and two touchdowns.
