Rock Climber Rescued in Heise

(HEISE, ID) – A rock climber had to be rescued in the Heise area Saturday afternoon.  The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says the climber reportedly fell near the Kelly Canyon Ski Resort. The circumstances surrounding the man’s fall were not released, though several emergency and medical personnel were at the scene just after 3 p.m. The climber, who has not been formally identified, was taken by ambulance to EIRMC with serious injuries.
