Both teams struggled on offense and points were at a premium. Even though the Rams out-gained the Seahawks 339-135 in terms of total yardage, the Seahawks still found themselves getting the win.

Kellen Clemens got the start for the Rams as starter Sam Bradford suffered a torn ACL last week against the Panthers. He completed 15 of 31 passes for 158 yards and two interceptions.

“We were very fortunate,” Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said after the game. “Under the circumstances with a new quarterback, they did a great job. We just couldn’t get going on offense. Fortunately, the defense hung together and gave us a chance to win the game.”

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed just 10 of 18 passes for 139 yards, but did throw two touchdowns.

Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch was contained by the Rams defense, as he ran for just 23 yards on eight carries. Wide receiver Golden Tate came up for the Seahawks, as he caught five passes for 93 yards with two touchdowns.

The Seahawks are now 7-1 on the season while the Rams fell to 3-5.
