(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Teton Cancer Institute opened its doors to the public on Friday in Idaho Falls. The facility, which has a working affiliation with Mountain View Hospital, will allow local cancer patients to receive treatment in eastern Idaho, rather than by having to travel to Salt Lake City or Boise. Local News u reports that the facility offers chemotherapy for children and several treatment bays for adults as well. Administrators say Mountain View diagnoses up to 22 cancer patients each week.
