(LOS ANGELES) — Will Ferrell brought his unique comedy style to the announcement of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting lineup against the St. Louis Cardinals before game five of the National League Championship Series in L.A. on Wednesday.
The former Saturday Night Live cast member was seen having a little fun with the players’ names, adding superlatives like “He Says The Chupacabra is Real” Yasiel Puig, and “He Absolutely Loves Katy Perry” Juan Uribe.
Earlier this week, Ferrell paid a visit to his alma mater, the University of Southern California, to deliver a speech. During that event, he appeared on stage in full Trojan armor to lead the USC marching band.
Ferrell will reprise his role as Ron Burgundy in Anchorman 2, which co-stars Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate and Vince Vaughn. The film opens December 20.
