McCarron tossed three touchdowns passes and sophomore running back T.J. Yeldon rushed for 133 yards and two scores as (1) Alabama (9-0; 6-0 SEC) rolled past (10) LSU (7-3; 3-3 SEC) Saturday night, 38-17.

Alabama scored the go-ahead touchdown on a four-yard run by Yeldon with 4:11 remaining in the third quarter. The Crimson Tide would add two more T-D’s in the fourth, on a one yard run by Yeldon and a three yard pass from McCarron to junior running back Jalston Fowler.

McCarron finished the game 14 of 20 for 179 yards.

It’s the most points the Crimson Tide have scored agaisnt the Tigers since 1947, when they won 41-12.
