Abduction Survivors Screen Movie in Rexburg
Published at | Updated at(REXBURG, ID) – A movie portraying the true story of two LDS missionaries abducted in Russia in 1998 is making the rounds throughout the Intermountain West. “The Saratov Approach” tells the story of the week-long kidnapping of Travis Tuttle and Andy Probst, which made international headlines and even involved diplomatic negotiations with President Clinton. Tuttle and Probst were in Rexburg Saturday for a screening at FatCats Cinema. The pair hope that by telling their story, they’ll be able to help others endure life trials. The film has earned more than $500,000 in limited screenings, making it one of the highest grossing films per screen in the country this year
