Adam Levine Named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

ABC/Randy Holmes(LOS ANGELES) — Adam Levine has officially been named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive.”
The honor was announced Tuesday night by Carson Daly on a live episode of NBC’s The Voice.
When Daly pressed Levine, a coach on the show, for a response, Levine smiled and murmured, “Thank you.” He then said jokingly, “I feel sexy.”
Levine graces the cover of the magazine’s special issue, which will hit newsstands in New York and Los Angeles Wednesday, and nationwide on Friday.
The Maroon 5 frontman, who has been engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo since July, joins the select club of Hollywood heartthrobs who have taken the title since the magazine first began bestowing the honor in 1985.
The sexiest man of 2012 was Magic Mike actor Channing Tatum. Previous Sexiest Men include Bradley Cooper, Mel Gibson, Nick Nolte, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Pierce Brosnan, Johnny Depp and Richard Gere.
