( IDAHO FALLS,  ID ) – Now through Dec. 24, the Bureau of Land Management is issuing Christmas tree permits. At a cost of $10 each with a limit of one per household, residents can cut down their own trees on BLM-controlled land. Some locations, including all wilderness study areas and Wolverine Canyon, are off limits to tree harvesting. Permits can be purchased at the Eastern
Idaho Visitor Center in Idaho Falls, the BLM Field Office in Pocatello, and the Kwik Stop in Malad.
