Bryce Petty Leads (4) Baylor Past Texas Tech, 63-34

BananaStock(ARLINGTON, Texas) — Bears quarterback Byrce Petty passed for three touchdowns and scored two more on the ground as (4) Baylor (9-0; 6-0 Big 12) rolled past Texas Tech (7-4; 4-4 Big 12), 63-34 on Saturday Night.
Leading by one point with 3:12 left in the second quarter, Petty connected with junior wide receiver Levi Norwood on a 58-yard touchdown, giving Baylor a 35-27 lead. The Bears would go on to outscore the Red Raiders in the second half, 28-7.
Petty finished the game with 335 passing yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for nine yards and two scores.
Texas Tech freshman quarterback Baker Mayfield was 28 of 51 passing for 314 yards and four touchdowns.
