(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Vehicle burglaries have been going up in Idaho Falls. Police received reports of 120 break-ins over the past four months. That’s compared to only 70 during the first six months. Though experts say the high numbers correspond to warmer temperatures during July and August, they stress that with the holidays rolling around, it’s important to keep doors locked and all valuables secured and out of sight at all times. Officials in Pocatello say they’ve also seen several recent car break-ins on the west side of town, and in southern Bannock County.
