College Campus in North Carolina Locked Down After One Shot

A campus alert notified the public that shots had been fired at Bluford Circle at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, says ABC’s Greensboro affiliate WTVD.

The school later announced that the lockdown had been lifted at about 11:15 p.m. One person was shot and taken to a nearby hospital.

A message posted on the school’s Twitter account at about 11:15 p.m. announced that the University Police Department was investigating the shooting and that the suspects had not yet been identified. WTVD reports that police are searching for four suspects.
