(POCATELLO, ID) – The Portneuf Medical Foundation has awarded a $76,000 grant to the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities will use the grant to fund a tactical emergency services program in seven southeast Idaho counties. Sheriff Lorin Nielsen says the funds will go toward purchasing a military-style vehicle and tactical gear, which can be used to train EMS personnel in high-stress situations involving police.
