In the clip, a scene from the AMC drama segues into star Bryan Cranston waking up in bed as his old Malcolm in the Middle character, Hal. He’s joined by his onscreen wife from the 2000-2006 Fox comedy, Jane Kaczmarek.

Unlike Cranston’s Breaking Bad character, the bald Walter White, Hal has a full head of hair in this video. A panicked Hal explains to Kaczmarek’s Lois that he had a terrible dream in which he was a meth dealer and had associated with a “man-child” who used the “B-word a lot.” These are references to Walter and his sidekick, Jesse Pinkman.

The alternate ending is a nod to the 1990 Newhart finale, in which Bob Newhart woke up next to his Bob Newhart Show co-star, Suzanne Pleshette.

The Malcolm in the Middle-inspired video will be included in a Breaking Bad DVD box set that will be released November 26.

A blooper reel from Breaking Bad‘s fifth and final season has also found its way online. Be warned: you’ll see Cranston’s naked butt in it.
