They point to the Virginia gubernatorial race as evidence of fallout from all the problems with the rollout of HealthCare.gov.  Democrat Terry McAuliffe was supposed to have won handily but his narrow victory over Republican Kenneth Cuccinelli Tuesday reflected voter disenchantment with what has become known as “Obamacare.”

In exit polls, 81 percent of people who said they were opposed to the health care law cast their ballots for the Republican.

As a result, President Obama met with 16 Democratic senators Wednesday to hear their concerns and allay their fears but it was obvious that he’s got his work cut out for him, judging by the skepticism of lawmakers following the pep talk.

Alaska Sen. Mark Begich, who is facing a total fight for reelection in 2014, remarked, “It’s absolutely unacceptable in this day and age that the administration can’t deliver on the promises it made to all Americans because of technical problems with a website.”
