Dogs Are Victims of Roadkill Game
Published at | Updated at
(RIGBY, ID) – Eastern Idaho dogs could be at risk when it comes to a trending roadkill game. Sgt. Jeff Edwards of the Bonneville County Sheriff’s office tells KIDK that there have been complaints of a driving game where people are trying to hit animals on purpose, especially dogs. In Rigby, at least six dogs have been brought to veterinarian Garth Waddoups in the past week alone, though he’s unsure if the hurt animals were intentionally hit. Officials are cautioning residents to keep their dogs tied up or in back yards if possible, and to report any animal strikes that appear to be intentional.
