(NEW YORK) — The New York Jets defense came out to play against the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees on Sunday.
The Jets topped the Saints 26-20 thanks to their defense, which got to Drew Brees twice and also made him throw two interceptions in the win.
Former Saints running back Chris Ivory rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown to lead the Jets offensive production.
Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith did not turn the ball over and threw for 115 yards in the victory.
Brees finished the day with 382 yards and two touchdowns to go along with the two picks.
The Jets head into their bye week at 5-4. New Orleans (6-2) hosts the Cowboys on Sunday night.
