Martin met at special investigator Ted Well’s office in Manhattan in the morning and didn’t come out of the building until dusk.

When Martin stepped outside he was mobbed by a herd of reporters. Martin then read a statement to the group before turning around and going back inside the building.

“Today’s meeting is consistent with my commitment to cooperate with the NFL’s investigation into my experience as a player on the Miami Dolphins. Martin said.” Although I went into great detail with Mr. Ted Wells and his team, I do not intend to discuss this matter publicly at this time.I do however look forward to speaking directly with Steven Ross, Tom Garfinkel and the Dolphins organization at the appropriate time, this is the right way to handle the matter.

“Beyond that I look forward to working through the process and resuming my career in the National Football League, thank you.”

The NFL is trying to gather information on Martin’s claims that teammate Richie Incognito bullied him.

Incognito, who has been suspended by the Dolphins, filed a grievance against the team Thursday in regards to his suspension. Icognito also claims his behavior was normal for a locker-room.
