Knicks Center Tyson Chandler Out 4-6 Weeks

New York Knicks/NBA(NEW YORK) — New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler will be out for the next four to six weeks with a small non-displaced fracture of the right fibula, the team announced Wednesday.
The injury occurred during Tuesday night’s loss to the Charlotte Bobcats when Chandler collided with guard Kemba Walker.
“Of course we miss him. He is our anchor on our defensive end, so we miss him big time,” Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony said after the loss on Tuesday.
Chandler was averaging 11.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in the Knicks first three games and the team will miss his defensive presence in the middle.
