Miley Cyrus Smokes on Stage at MTV EMAs

Kevin Mazur/WireImage(AMSTERDAM) — Miley Cyrus won the Best Video award at the MTV Europe Music Awards this weekend, and while accepting the prize, pulled out what may have been a cigarette and started smoking.
Cyrus opened the show with a performance of her hit song “We Can’t Stop.” Dressed in a tight galactic dress, she can be seen “twerking” with a small woman also dressed in a sexy space uniform.
The star then took it down a notch later on in the show, performing “Wrecking Ball” and putting the focus on her voice.
Cryus won the award for Best Video for her song “Wrecking Ball.” The singer came on stage to accept her award in a revealing leotard and white fur jacket, while carrying a black and white Chanel purse.
“You know I couldn’t fit this award in my bag, but I did find this,” Cyrus said. She then opens up her purse and pulls out what appears to be a cigarette, lights it and takes a puff.
It is not certain what Cyrus was actually smoking while she was onstage, but MTV said on its website the star was “smoking weed.” Amsterdam has a more relaxed policy on the use of marijuana in its country, although it is not legal in their country.
