(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A Preston hunter reported missing last week was found safe Friday afternoon. Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde says the man’s truck broke down in the Brockman-McCoy Creek area southeast of Idaho Falls. The man was supposed to return home on Thursday night, and reportedly didn’t have cell phone reception to call for help. Searchers used a plane to locate the man, who was found at about 4 p.m. Authorities say the area was particularly muddy, making it difficult for drivers to move in and out of the area.
