(EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.) — The New York Giants placed running back David Wilson on the season-ending injured reserve list Thursday, because of a neck injury.
The second year NFL veteran suffered a herniated disk in his neck last month during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Giants selected Wilson out of Virginia Tech with the 32nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. In his rookie campaign with Big Blue, he rushed for 358 yards and four touchdowns on 71 carries. This season, Wilson had 146 yards and one TD on 44 carries.
