The Buckeyes (9-0, 5-0 Big 10) kept their national title hopes alive by staying unbeaten and winning their 21st-straight game, good for the longest in the country.  Head coach Urban Meyer hasn’t lost a game in 34 1/2 months.

Backup quarterback Kenny Guiton passed for a touchdown as well, while rushing for two more scores.  Five different receivers caught touchdown passes.

Meyer said after the game that the team seemed a bit sluggish in the pregame, but when it was time to go the Buckeyes put their best foot forward.

“It was an early morning, we had to get up early, we had to get prepared, we had to eat well,” Miller said. “We had to get the guys going and the coaches talked to us and got us hyped.”

Ohio State dominated the game from start to finish, producing the most lopsided win in the history of the 56-game series between the two teams.

Purdue (1-7, 0-4) has now lost six straight games.
