It landed in Kazakhstan Monday at 8:49 a.m. local time, according to NASA, after being rocketed to the International Space Station (ISS) last week aboard a Russian Soyuz capsule.

On Saturday, two Russian cosmonauts took the torch outside of the ISS, marking the first ever spacewalk for an Olympic torch.  It remained unlit the entire time it was in space.

Now back on land, the torch will continue its relay to the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, set to kick off on Feb. 7.
