Mariota was seen wearing a brace during Oregon’s 26-20 loss to Stanford on Thursday night.  He threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns in the loss, but the Ducks fell short against the fifth-ranked Cardinal.

The redshirt sophomore is known for his mobility, as he entered the game with 511 yards on 56 carries, but he rarely moved out of the pocket Thursday night.  He ran the ball just three times, finishing with minus-16 yards.  He was also sacked three times.

Asked after the game how much pain he was in, Mariota said, “I don’t know. I tend to just not focus on the pain because you’ve got to play with it.”

It is not yet known if Mariota will have to miss any time.
