(NEW YORK) — Forward Paul George had 24 points and six rebounds as Indiana (7-0) outpaced the Brooklyn Nets Saturday night (2-4), 96-91. With the win, the Pacers are off to their best start in franchise history and remain the NBA’s only unbeaten team.
Indiana forward David West contributed 18 points and had eight rebounds while center Roy Hibbert and guard Lance Stephenson each had 15 points.
Trailing 94-91 with 20 seconds remaining in the game, Nets guard Joe Johnson missed a game-tying three. West secured the rebound and sealed the victory for Indiana with two free throws.
