Parking Lot Almost Finished at Edson Fichter Park

(POCATELLO, ID) – The new parking area at the Edson Fichter (pronounced FICK-ter) Nature Area in Pocatello is almost finished. Several volunteers and work crews from the Bannock County Jail have been planting trees and putting in new landscape around the expanded lot, which will also provide parking for the Indian Hills Soccer Complex. Construction managers say they’ll pave the lot with asphalt in the spring, and add new bathroom facilities.
