During the offseason, the Vikings sent Harvin to the Seahawks in exchange for a first and seventh-round pick in 2013 and a third-round pick in 2014.

Back on Aug. 1, Harvin underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum. He’s been practicing with the team for the past few weeks, and he feels like he’s ready to make an impact for his new team.

“I definitely think I’m ready to play,” Harvin said. “I still have a lot of work to do, but it was great to be out there with my teammates running plays and going to the huddle. Hopefully everything goes well [Saturday] and I can look forward to the game.”

When healthy, Harvin is one of the more dangerous players in the NFL when he has the ball.

Harvin played just nine games for the Vikings last season, but he had 61 catches for 677 yards and a touchdown.

The Vikings selected Harvin with the 22nd pick back in the 2009 draft.
