Austin had a 98-yard punt return and two touchdowns in the blowout win.

“I’ve been patient for eight weeks and, hopefully, it’s my time right now,” Austin said. “I knew the day was going to come. It was just me being patient and me being true to myself and to keep working. I’m just glad that I had an opportunity.”

The win for St. Louis ended a three-game skid and marked the first win for Kellen Clemens, who has stepped in for the injured Sam Bradford at quarterback.

“That was a lot of fun to watch. Tavon, he’s lightning in a bottle when he gets the ball in his hands,” Clemens said. “His performance tonight is certainly going to be one for the books.”

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 353 yards with a touchdown, but had three interceptions in the loss.

“It is what it is, we got our butts kicked, we’ve got to move on,” Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said.
