(NEW YORK) — While James Gandolfini will arguably live on forever thanks to his work in The Sopranos and on the big screen, the actor, who died of a heart attack in June, will soon be memorialized in a more concrete way.
Part of Park Avenue in Park Ridge, N.J., will be named in the Garden State native’s honor, according to the Bergen Record. The paper reports the idea came from a group of fans on Facebook, but was brought to reality by Park Ridge Borough Administrator Kelley O’Donnell, who was a high school classmate of the late actor.
James Gandolfini Way will be unveiled at a ceremony on Dec. 1.
