Walmart Supercenter Coming to Rexburg

(REXBURG, ID) – A Walmart Supercenter is coming to Rexburg. Officials confirmed Thursday night that Walmart will build a new store in the area of North Second East and Moody Road, with plans to sell the current location next to Albertson’s. The 185,000 square-foot building will employ 300 associates, and is slated to open in 2016. A company spokesperson says the new store is necessary to accommodate the growing population in the Upper Valley.
