Weston Man Dies in Wreck Near Preston

(PRESTON, ID) – A southeast Idaho man is dead following an accident along state Highway 36 near Preston. Idaho State Police say 26-year-old Chet Atkinson of Weston was driving along the highway Sunday evening when he went off the south side of the road in his pickup, over corrected, and rolled down an embankment. Atkinson was not wearing a seat belt and succumbed to his injuries after the crash.
