James White rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns as the 24th-ranked Badgers dropped Iowa 28-9 on Saturday for their third-straight victory.

Wisconsin was able to convert two second-half interceptions into touchdowns to help put away the Hawkeyes.

“The turnovers were huge for us. I’m proud of the young men of this program for how they played,” Wisconsin coach Gary Andersen said. “They kept on fighting and battling and we were fortunate to get some points out of it.”

The Badgers (6-2, 4-1 Big 10) became bowl-eligible for the 12th-straight season.  Joel Stave added two touchdown passes.

Iowa (5-4, 2-3) lost quarterback Jake Rudock to a sprained left knee in the third quarter, but head coach Kirk Ferentz thinks he will be able to play against Purdue next week.
