The loss snaps the Seahawks 14-game home winning streak and allows the Cardinals to stay alive in the NFC playoff hunt.

The win makes up for the Cardinals’ 58-0 loss in Seattle last season.

“Any time you come on the road and the team beats you 58-0 and you have to come back to their place, it lingers to the back of your head,” Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett said. “If you got any pride in any game of football, when a team beats you by 58, you know you think about it and it’s stuck on you.”

Just like the Arizona defense stuck it to Seattle. The Cardinals allowed Seattle only 192 total yards.

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson completed 11 of 27 passes for 108 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

To make the playoffs, Arizona (10-5) now needs San Francisco to lose to Atlanta on Monday night and then the Cardinals must beat the 49ers next week. If San Francisco wins Monday night, the Cardinals can still make the playoffs by beating the Niners and having New Orleans lose to Tampa Bay.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks (12-3) can clinch the top seed in the NFC with a win over St. Louis next weekend.
