The Chiefs had lost three-games in a row after winning their first nine games of the season, but you’d never know watching the game.

Alex Smith was steady as usual for the Chiefs, as he threw for 137 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Running back Jamaal Charles had 151 rushing yards with one touchdown as well. The team also had their 10th return for a touchdown on special teams.

“It’s tough to lose three games in the National Football League, three consecutive games,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said after the game. “It seems like a year, those are dog years as you would say — each week that you have a loss in the NFL. For those guys to come back and rebound after that, I was proud of that.”

The Chiefs only won two games all of last season.
