Colorado State (8-6) overcame a 22-point deficit to stun the Cougars.  The Rams were playing in their first bowl game since 2008 and wanted to prove their worth.

Washington State (6-7) led 45-37 with less than two minutes remaining when running back Jeremiah Laufasa fumbled the football at Colorado State’s 33-yard line.  Kapri Bibbs ran for a 1-yard touchdown and Donnell Alexander tied the game at 45 with a two-point conversion.

On the ensuing kickoff, Teondray Campbell fumbled at the Cougars 24, setting up the game-winning kick.

Washington State quarterback Connor Halliday threw for 410 yards and six touchdowns, all of which went to different receivers.

Bibbs ran for 169 yards and three scores in the victory.
