Fiume/Getty Images(BOULDER, Colo.) — Junior Askia Booker hit a 30-foot buzzer beater to give unranked Colorado a 75-72 victory over #6 Kansas on Saturday. It was the first victory for the Buffaloes (9-1) over the Jayhawks (6-2) in their last 20 attempts.

After Colorado gave up a six point lead with less than two minutes remaining, Kansas’ Perry Ellis tied the game at 72 a piece with four seconds left. Colorado then called timeout to draw up their final play. Xavier Johnson inbounded the ball to Booker who dribbled a few steps past half court and launched a shot that hit nothing but net, sending fans storming onto the court.

“Unless I’m in the NBA championship, that’s the only thing that could top that,” Booker said.

The win was the ninth in a row for the Buffs, and their first over KU since 2003. Booker and teammate Spencer Dinwidde led Colorado with 15 points each. Andrew Wiggins scored a game high 22 points in the loss.
