Disney Files Trademark Lawsuit over “Frozen Land” Film

Buena Vista(NEW YORK) — Disney has filed a lawsuit against a film company called Phase 4 Films over a recent animated project that Disney says infringed upon the trademark for its hit film Frozen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Disney contends that following the theatrical debut of The Legend of Sarila in early November, Phase 4 re-titled the film Frozen Land and redesigned its logo to mirror that of Frozen.
Disney seeks unspecified damages, as well as an injunction and destruction of all DVD copies of Frozen Land.
Disney is the parent company of ABC News.
