(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – East Idaho Credit Union has cancelled hundreds of debit cards following the Black Friday security breach at Target. Officials say they’re issuing new cards to their clients as soon as possible. In what federal authorities are calling one of the largest incidents of identity theft ever recorded, information from 40 million credit and debit card accounts was stolen from the Target retail chain. The theft affects everyone who used electronic payments on merchandise between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15.
