Edward Snowden Seeking Asylum in Brazil?

Fuse/Thinkstock(MOSCOW) — Edward Snowden appears to be looking to Brazil for possible asylum.
The National Security Agency leaker has written an open letter to the people of Brazil, warning them about the reach of American surveillance powers and promising to help investigate. Still, he says he needs permanent asylum in order to do so.
Brazil has been furious about Snowden’s revelations that the United States was spying on its president.
Snowden remains stuck in Russia where he has temporary asylum, unable to leave for fear he would be extradited to the U.S.
