ABC News(NEW YORK) — Police have recovered the SUV stolen during a fatal carjacking that occurred Sunday night outside a high-end mall in New Jersey.

The vehicle was discovered at a boarded up home in Newark, not far from the Mall at Short Hills where Dustin Friedland, a 30-year-old Hoboken lawyer, was shot. He died later at the hospital.

Friedland and his wife were confronted in the parking garage where they and others had just finished some holiday shopping.

A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrests of the carjackers.
