Kean was 90 years old.

The Honeymooners was originally a sketch on The Jackie Gleason Show in the 1950s before it became a separate series starring Gleason as bus driver Ralph Kramden, Audrey Meadows as his wife Alice, Art Carney as Ed Norton and Joyce Randolph as Trixie. When Gleason revived the sketch for a 1960s version of his variety show, Kean filled the role of Trixie and Shelia MacRae took on the role of Alice.

Kean’s other credits include appearances on Broadway in The Pajama Game and Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter.
