Kardashian Family Dominates Tabloids in 2013

Brian Bowen Smith/E!(LOS ANGELES) — With so much happening with the Kardashian-Jenner clan this year — from breakups to babies to engagements — it’s no wonder that the reality TV stars were the celebrities who dominated the tabloids this year.
According to Jezebel, the Keeping Up with the Kardashian stars covered 57.8 percent of all major tabloids — OK!, Us Weekly, Star, In Touch, and Life & Style — this year. For only two weeks out of the entire year, a member of the family wasn’t featured on the cover of a tabloid magazine. For instance, In Touch Weekly reportedly featured a member of the Kardashian family on 37 of its 52 covers this year.
The tabloids not only heavily covered Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy and the birth of baby North in June, but they also featured photos of matriarch Kris Jenner, especially following her split from Olympian Bruce Jenner in October.
So which celeb dominated the tabloid covers? Well, Kim Kardashian takes that honor, with 61 tabloid covers this year, beating out every other celeb. Her sister, Khloe Kardashian, who went through a very public split from estranged husband Lamar Odom, took second place overall with 38 covers. Kris Jenner followed with 22, and the eldest Kardashian sister, Kourtney, had 18 covers.
Kate Middleton, Jennifer Aniston, Miranda Lambert and Angelina Jolie also rank high on the list of celebs featured on tabloid covers, according to Jezebel.
