Madison School District Proposes $2.5 Million Levy

(REXBURG, ID) – The Madison School District is proposing a $2.5 million, ten-year plant facility levy. That will take the place of the current $1.4 million levy that’s been used over the past ten years. Administrators believe the district will likely need a new elementary school within the next five years, since the district is adding more than 100 new students annually. The levy, which needs a two-thirds majority to pass, will be on the ballot March 11.
