Magnitude 4.5 Earthquake Strikes Oklahoma

United States Geological Survey(OKLAHOMA CITY) — A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck an Oklahoma City suburb on Saturday afternoon.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the earthquake hit near Jones, Okla., at about 12:10 p.m. CT. though they said that a tremor of that magnitude in the area is uncommon but not unprecedented. Many in the area said that they felt the shake, but that it was not violent.
The USGS says that aftershocks are expected. There was no immediate information available regarding citizens injured or damage to property.
