Most, Least Desirable Celebrity Neighbors of 2013

David Giesbrecht/Bravo(NEW YORK) — Who are the most and least desired celebrity neighbors of 2013?
They are television host Jimmy Fallon and celebrity couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, respectively, according to a survey from online housing marketplace Zillow.
The adults surveyed said Fallon, the host of Late Night, is the celebrity they would want most as a neighbor, with 11 percent of votes.
The “most desirable neighbors” who followed Fallon were Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton; Jennifer Lawrence; Sofia Vergara; Robin Roberts and LeBron James.
Meanwhile, 34 percent of those surveyed said they would not want to live next to any celebrities of the choices given, down from 45 percent last year. Zillow said this is the largest drop in the survey’s seven-year history.
Zillow’s chief marketing officer Amy Bohutinsky said Fallon carries a “positive, funny and relatable vibe,” while West and Kardashian “have a reputation for living an over-the-top lifestyle, with drama and the paparazzi never too far behind.”
“No one wants to live next door to a family who has cameras following them everywhere and seems to seek out as much attention as possible,” she said. “However, with more than one-third of surveyed Americans preferring a non-celebrity neighbor, what remains clear is that many people don’t want to live next to any celebrity, regardless of why they are famous.”
The “least desirable” celebrities were topped by engaged couple West and Kardashian at 25 percent, followed by the cast of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo; Justin Bieber; Miley Cyrus; Lady Gaga; Alex Rodriguez; and LeBron James.
Jimmy Fallon’s Hamptons Home: In the summer of 2011, Jimmy Fallon bought a home in the Hamptons for $5.7 million. The 2.2-acre property in Sagaponack, N.Y., has three stories, a main house with six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The property also has two guest cottages, a heated pool and a four-car garage.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Bel-Air Home: Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly bought a home in Bel-Air, Calif., that was once listed for $10.75 million. Located near the Kardashian compound, the home in the exclusive, gated Bel-Air Crest community spans 9,000 square feet.
