(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An unfinished mansion in Idaho Falls formerly owned by a man running a Ponzi scheme recently sold for a fraction of its building costs. Daren Palmer’s $6.9 million home sold for $762,000. Federal authorities approved an accelerated auction deadline after the buyer, who remains unnamed, wanted to close on the house by Dec. 10. The 16,000 square foot home has six bedrooms, a sauna, an indoor water fountain, and a half basketball court, among other features.
