Rangers & Athletics Complete Four-Player Trade

12 3 13%20MLB%20Logo%20A?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1386109944240Brian D. Kersey/Getty Images(ARLINGTON, Texas) — The Texas Rangers traded outfielder Craig Gentry and right-handed pitcher Josh Lindblom to the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday for outfielder Michael Choice and infielder Chris Bostick.

In 106 games with Texas last season, the 30-year-old Gentry batted .280 with two home runs and 22 RBIs. He also scored 39 runs and had 24 stolen bases.

The 26-year-old Lindbloom went 1-3 with a 5.46 ERA in eight games with Texas. He struck out 21 batters in 31 1/3 innings of work.

The A’s took Choice with the tenth overall pick in the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft. He appeared in nine games for Oakland this past season, batting .278.

The 20-year-old Bostick spent the 2013 season at Class-A Beloit, where he hit .282 with 14 home runs and 89 RBIs.  He also swiped 25 bases.
